* The Goomad State: A Monmouth University study
shows New Jersey men are getting laid far more often than the
state's
women, but maybe not, since many of the older, female respondents in
the phone survey refused to answer when asked if they've had sex in the
last year. Women under 50 were more than happy to kiss-and-tell,
though, and 67 percent of those women said they'd gotten busy in the
'07. This makes one of the study's authors wonder:
"But the results on gender-based differences in sexual activity do raise an interesting question: If men are indeed having sex more often than women in New Jersey, are they going out of state to do it?"
Maybe. More likely, they're schtupping younger women. Jersey Girls, hello?
* Young girls are being abducted and sexually assaulted in Camden, but whatever you do, do not in any way try to make it a big deal, city police tell the Inquirer:
He said the nine assaults and attempted assaults were not an unusual number for the city. "But that is a high number in that age group," he said. "The real connection that makes us put these cases together is the victims." . . .
He said investigators would put a warning out to the schools, which are on holiday break, about the incidents. And he urged parents to keep an eye on their daughters, particularly in the targeted age range.
Camden has a disproportionately high number of Megan's Law sex offenders, for various reasons, Ottenberg said. "At least with those people, we have good records," he said. "So that's a little bit of a help."
So yeah, they're gonna warn the schools, and don't forget to keep an eye on your daughters, but no word on added patrols or anything so don't like, panic or anything. The Camden police sure aren't.
