Tonight's the Bill O'Reilly-Stephen Colbert showdown! O'Reilly's right about one thing, I wouldn't normally be caught dead tuning in to the "Factor," but you know I'll be watching -- for eight minutes, at least -- tonight.
On the "Report," Colbert is good in many ways that Jon Stewart is not. For one thing, Colbert never breaks character, which allows him to ask the most outrageous questions and make awkward observations and get away with it. Stewart plays along with the absurd bits, but in general acts like he's simply portraying himself. But then when faced with criticism, Stewart usually claims "The Daily Show" is a straightforward parody -- I'm not sure you can have it both ways.
